Montechiaro is near Prato allo Stelvio, near the border lines of Austria and Switzerland, around 47 km from Merano and 30 km from Passo Resia.... by car
From Brennero: highway, direction Verona, exit Bolzano sud, from here superstrada Merano/Bolzano, direction Merano, from Merano on the state road towards Passo Resia as far as Prato/Montechiaro.
To Passo Resia: highway from Innsbruck towards Bregenz, exit Landeck, from here on the state road, direction Passo Resia, from Passo Resia on the state road towards Merano as far as Montechiaro/Prato.
Coming from Switzerland: cross the border in Munstair/Tubre, take the Val Monastero state road, direction Merano as far as Montechiaro.
